Xiaomi Aims Big with Redmi Note 7, Targets to Sell 1 Million Pieces in This January

Xiaomi is determined to hit the 1 million units sold during the first month of Redmi Note 7 launch in China alone. The Redmi Note 7 hits the shelves of China this Tuesday. Within the 8 minutes 36 seconds, all the phones were sold.

The announcement for the 1 million units sold was informed by Xiaomi’s product director, Wang Teng Thomas on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging platform. Some Xiaomi fan asked Wang there about the availability of a sufficient amount of new Redmi Note 7 units during its first sale. Wang reverts that there won’t be any shortage of units as Xiaomi is targeting to sell around 1 million units of the newly launched phone.

It may not be a big deal for Xiaomi to sell a million units, but the considerable drop in the smartphone unit sales in the Chinese market raises skepticism on the success of Xiaomi’s aim.

The Redmi Note 7 is launched with a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The aspect ratio of the display portion is 19.5:9. Maximum brightness of the screen is 450nits. Redmi Note 7 is the first device to flaunt a dewdrop notch.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with- up to 64GB internal storage and 6GB of RAM is a killer combination under Rs. 15,000 as the highest specified phone costs 1,399 Yuan or roughly Rs. 14,500.

The phone is backed by the 4,000mAh battery and it supports QuickCharge 4. Redmi Note 7 ships with a 10W charger. Xiaomi is also selling an 18W charger separately for quicker charging. For the external connectivity options, a 3.5mm jack and USB Type-C is there.

The Phone comes with a dual-back camera and a powerful front camera to take you a notch above in your love for mobile photography or lead you ahead in selfie shots.
