New Epic Games Announced at GDC 2019 Exclusive for Epic Games Store

Epic Games has announced a massive list of games which will be exclusive to its Epic Games Store, at GDC 2019 rejecting a release on Steam. Steam has been the actual PC game storefront for lots of gamers. The list includes Ancestors, Detroit: Become Human, exclusive PS4 games. “Ancestors” is a new game created by Patrice Desilets, the creator of Assassin’s Creed among others. The Fortnite maker also revealed that older games of Ubisoft like Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon, Wildlands and many more would make it to Epic Games Store. Ubisoft will integrate their features to Epic Games Store from Uplay. It will enable players to share their friend lists between two services.

  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Solar Ash Kingdom
  • Heavy Rain
  • Afterparty
  • The Cycle
  • Control
  • Industries of Titan
  • Kine
  • Dauntless
  • Journey to the Savage Planet
  • Phoenix Pont
  • Spellbreak
  • The Sinking City
  • Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
  • Beyond: Two Souls

Some of these games like the Control will come to PS4 and Xbox One, but all of these games will skip Steam for at least a year. The sci-fi game called “The Outer Worlds from Obsidian” is a role-playing game and it will be on Epic Games Store along with the Microsoft Store for the Windows PCs.

The exclusive Epic Games Store game Metro: Exodus has been successful in the platform. Epic Games Store reportedly claimed that Metro: Exodus’s sales were more than Metro: Last Light duration wise since its launch.

It is good news for the franchise after the switch of the game from Steam to Epic Games Store.
