The business version of WhatsApp is specifically designed for small businesses. The beta version is free for the users. After one year of its launch currently, it is now available in iOS platform. Previously it was only available for the android users. The availability has been first reported by WABetaInfo, and it has almost the same features as the main iOS version but has some useful messaging tool for business purpose and a different color (darker blue).

According to WABetainfo, they were surprised to see the app only available in android platform during its release. The reason might be WhatsApp has more Android user than iOS. But finally, it is now available in iOS for which many users had requested earlier. Generally, if a user wants to use this app, they need to accept WhatsApp’s terms and conditions, and then they will have the option to migrate their chat from WhatsApp messenger to this business app. The app has come with some exclusive features. The messaging tool has a recipient feature which allows the user to choose the recipient of any specific message. This app was first spotted in the app store in Mexico.

Users from Brazil, Argentina, France have also reported about the availability of the app in their respective app store. Since February, it is available worldwide. According to WhatsApp, the business app has around five million active users. This app helps businesses to connect with their consumers and also provide useful information regarding respective business which includes location, working hours, official site etc. It also links to social media. In January this year, what’s app has added several new features to this app. This includes, most exciting quick reply option, schedule feature and away message feature etc. The app is compatible with iOS 8. Though there has been no official confirmation from Whatsapp iOS users are pretty excited with this recent development.
