Catherine Feather

Lattice is a startup which offers a new and unique approach for the corporate goal setting. The company did pretty well in its Series B funding raising a great amount of 15 million. Some of the well-known firms like Khosla Ventures, Thrive Capital and Y combinatory have participated in this Shasta lead funding.

The large organizations like Slack, Reddit, Glossier and Coinbase suffer from improper management and bad employee engagement. The founder of Lattice, Eric Koslow and Jack Altman have gone through certain pain points and realized that it would be an excellent benefit for higher growth organizations if they have a startup that addresses these pain points.

Lattice helps the HR department of an organization to develop better insights about their teams and management. Jack Altman has told Tech Crunch that “We realized that with quarterly goal settings, OKRs, we would write them up and get the leadership together and then they would sit on a shelf and nothing would happen.”

This product makes it very easy for the employees of both startups and large organizations to complete the engagement survey, arrange one on one meeting, share the feedback and complete comprehensive goals.

Usually, any company has to focus on their core business in order to survive, by using Lattice the employees will become more productive as Lattice will take care of above-mentioned tasks. Lattice is now having 60 employees and more than 1200 customers. The company has always been into offering quality services to the customers, and this feature has helped them in securing big clients like Reddit and Coinbase. Altman, CEO of Lattice says that “life is short and everyone should enjoy their work and the office should be a good place.”
